Our Year 10, 11 and 12 curriculum provides the flexibility to begin focusing on their strengths and chosen pathway. During Year 10 students will participate in learning experiences in the core areas of Mathematics, English, Science, Social Sciences and select two specialist subjects from Physical Education, Languages Other than English (LOTE), Technology and The Arts.
Students also develop a Senior Education and Training Plan which maps out their intended pathway beyond Year 10. This is developed by students in consultation with parents ensuring students are selecting suitable pathways in Years 11 and 12. The goal for all students is to obtain a Queensland Certificate of Education (QCE). Students intending to go to university will participate in a Queensland Core Skills (QCS) text preparation program.

As part of entering the post-compulsory phase of their education, students are required to sign the Senior school enrolment agreement form which outlines certain conditions they agree to comply with while attending Kilcoy State High School.
